Meet the Pineapple Panache Stamp Set for Handmade Cards

Hello friends! Welcome to Day 2 of the Lil' Inker  Designs July release blog hop! We have some beautiful, crafty goodness to share with you this week, so I hope you'll join us for all three days of inspiration! (If you didn't start at the Lil' Inker Designs blog, head back there first, so you don't miss a thing!)

I'm excited to share Pineapple Panache with you today - pineapples are so trendy right now! (Who knew a pineapple could be classified as trendy!?) These stamps and coordinating dies are so fun to create with! On this first card, I was going for a watercolor effect. Rather than tapping my stamps onto an ink pad, I brushed some slightly diluted dye ink right onto my stamps before stamping them on cardstock. It created a really cool effect I think. I used a brush and brushed a little ink around the sides of the cardstock to finish off the edges.

In contrast, on the second card I used the same color palette, and the same exact inks - but I created a very different look. I stamped directly onto my ink pads to create this card.  I paired the Pineapple Panache stamps with the new Cover Up Die: Dotted Scallops. It's perfect with the pineapple motif. . .but it will be perfect for so very MANY projects too!

And now, be sure to hop all the way through to see all of the designers' beautiful inspiration for the day! Comment each day for a chance to win one of three $15 gift certificates to the LID store! Woohoo! Thanks so much for stopping by - release week is so much FUN with you around! :)

Um, these are SO AMAZING TOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Your watercolored effect card is a total stunner - like has me running to my craft room to try this!!!! And your card with the dotted scallops is terrific! I love that you make a three colored pineapple by using the solid one included in the set! It has so much dimension!!! Really great work, Laura!!!
