How To Use Lil' Inker Designs Cover Up Dies to Make Holiday Cards

Hello friends! It's day one of the Lil' Inker Designs release blog hop! There are so many new fabulous clear stamps and dies for your handmade cards and projects, that you'll be using all year long!

Meet the newest Cover Up die. . . Diamond Lace. Seriously, isn't that stunning!? I just die-cut it on the front of my card, and it is a beautiful background! Then I added a tag cut from the new Dotted Tags dies, and stamped my sentiment with the new Inky Flowers stamp set. This stamp set is not a holiday set . . .but it makes a pretty fab thank you card for holiday gifts, don't you think!?

On the next card, I used the new Dotted Ovals die set. I paired it with a favorite Cover Up die from last year, Cover Up Die: Snowflakes and stamped the Winter Greetings sentiment.

Before you head along to the next stop on the hop, I do want to let you know that this will be my last blog hop with Lil' Inker. After this week's release, I will be stepping down from my spot at Lil' Inker Designs. I have so completely LOVED being a part of this design team, and I've loved sharing projects and goodies from this sweet company. Laura Pryor has a commitment to high quality, easy-to-use, and BEAUTIFUL products, as well as a devotion to great customer service. (And she is amazing to her designers!) It's been a JOY to work with this company, and I will miss it a lot! I'll keep on using my LID goodies, and I look forward to following Lil' Inker's  future success!

And now. . . .hop along, my friends, for I am sure there is so much more amazing inspiration to be had today! (And don't forget. . . comment along the way for a chance at one of three $15 gift certificates to the store!)

You should have arrived here from Sarah Jay  and next up is the lovely Heather Hoffman!!! If you're just starting here, head back to the LID Blog  to start at the beginning, so you don't miss a thing!

Thanks so much for coming by, thanks for your comments, and thanks for your support!

PS. Have you checked out Lil' Inker Designs on Pinterest lately? So much inspiration to share!

My first peek at the new quilted lace die. It looks marvelous! I love the simplicity of your designs--they let the products and sentiments take centre place. And you tie a mean bow!

So pretty! The coverup die is just gorgeous in red cardstock! Your snowflake card is stunning! That would make great thank you's after Christmas, just change out the sentiment. So much inspiration!

These cards are really pretty Laura! Your clean and simple cards are your trademark and these Christmas beauties are no exception! Hope you are not leaving the cardmaking community but just moving on to new things.
Hope all is well...Today the temp in Chicago was in the mid 50's...certainly not feeling like Christmas, just yet! But then FL must always be warm this time of year! Enjoy these days with your family! Merry Christmas!

I agree. It must be the colour scheme paired with the wonderful scripty font of the dies that make your cards ooze christmas charm!:)
