Some day, some way .. .

Some day, some way, life WILL get back on some sort of schedule. SOME DAY, our days will become more predictable. Some day I will be able to blog on a more regular basis again. And be able to work on a more regular basis. And be able to SLEEP on a more regular basis. In the meantime. . .hang in there with me, okay? I love and miss all of my "internet pals" so don't be strangers okay?

Here is a card using some of those NEW stamps from Unity. . .this set is called Sketchy Little Boy. I paired it with some Close To My Heart paper, which made this card come together SUPER quickly. All those stars are part of the patterned paper. . . perfection!!! :)

what i've been working on. . .

Okay, so I really cleared away the cobwebs, and spent a few minutes here and there, working on some cards. It's just that they are for assignments that can't be shared just yet!!!! So in the meantime, here's what ELSE I've been working on . . . adding to those chub rolls on my chunka lunka little baby man. Here he was just chilling out on my bed after a bath. My world is definitely a brighter place with a chubby little nakey baby in the house!!!!

I promise - I will have some more cards to share soon. You know what, I just realized I DO have a few more tucked away to share, that I did before Tanner was born. I'll make ya wait though - I'll post them tomorrow!!! ;) (Meanie, meanie me!!)

Merry New Releases!

Good morning!!! Just as promised, I have some cards showcasing NEW Unity stamps today! These are using some of the cute new Christmas stamps that we first caught a glimpse of at CHA. . .and now they are available to YOU!!!I love the SIZE of these trees . .. perfect for cards and scrapbook layouts. Easy to cut out, easy to paper-piece, and easy to color. Whatever you want to do with them, these trees are perfect!

is this thing on???

Echo. . .echo. . .echo. . .anyone still here? Anyone still reading this blog? (And is anyone still WRITING this blog!?) Man, so much for being ahead of the game, and having blog posts all ready to go!!!

My art table is probably gathering cobwebs, and I am itching to sit down and work ONE OF THESE DAYS!!! Until then, I have two new-OLD cards to share, that I have had tucked away on the computer, waiting for a day like TODAY. And I'll be back on Thursday, to share some NEW RELEASES from Unity!!! (WoooHOO!!)
This first card is another of those "Use it or Lose it" cards - using up some stash. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this paper from BasicGrey. I just love the color combination. I hoarded the couple sheets I had, and I finally used up ALL the scraps making a set of cards that are all pretty similar to this. Even used up some paper flowers (I have TONS of them, and never seem to use them anymore.)

This second card is from the Apron Strings card kit (from July I think!) Sweet and simple, and using a super fun chipboard birdie, that I covered in white cardstock, and inked the edges of.

The hours and days here at home are rushing by leaving me wondering where the two weeks have gone, since Tanner was born. Although he and I have both had our share of minor battles and issues, all in all we are doing pretty well, and hopefully each day will continue to get a little easier and better. He is sleeping FAR better than his big brother did, so I am crossing my fingers that THAT will continue!!!

Speaking of which, he is ASLEEP right now, so let me take this opportunity to continue flying through all of the tasks (like blogging) that aren't getting done during his waking hours. (Peeing, eating, and brushing my teeth would also fall under this category!!) And before you know it, it will be time to pick up the Big Little Man from preschool, so I better hustle off!!!!

Seriously though, come back on Thursday, because I WILL have another post, and will have some Unity goodness to share!!

everyday miracles

miraculously we made it through the big man's first day of school. and after another trip to the lactation consultant, we hope we have miraculously gotten some of little man's feeding issues on the right track.
AND miraculously i have a card to share with you today - granted, i created it two months ago. :) This is another super quick and easy card with Sassafrass Lass paper and a sentiment stamp from Unity's June (yes JUNE!) Kit of the Month.

And now, i am completely over trying to type this one-handed while feeding the little man. Sooooo - have a GREAT day!!!! xoxo

CPS 132 . . .feelin' Sweet N Sassy!

Sweet N Sassy Stamps sponsored us at CPS this week, and we got to pick out some of their digital stamps to play with! I chose this cute set with the cupcake. I printed three cupcakes out on colored paper (from My Mind's Eye) and paper-pieced them together. I sparkled up the cherries with some Doodlebug glitter, and added a simple rub-on for the sentiment.
