Make a Summer Fun Handmade Card with Flamingoes and Pineapples!

FACT: Flamingos and pineapples are appropriate for every single season of the year. Summer or not, printed paper covered in flamingoes, especially when paired with black and white gingham is completely on point. I am totally in love with the Fun Filled Prints 6x6 paper from Fun Stampers Journey. 

With bright bold patterned paper, there wasn't much else to do to pull this card together. I paper-pieced the pineapple (ummm, HELLO pink pineapple!!) from the Summer Fun stamp set. It's a DARLING stamp set from FSJ, perfect for summer crafts - but again, we've covered the fact that pineapples are more than appropriate ALL YEAR, so keep this set handy ALL YEAR. (Plus there's a sunshine and a pinwheel you'll want to use again and again too!) The sentiment from this card came from an FSJ stamp set called So Fresh (*retired). 

Add some sequins, plus twine and ribbon and this card is ready to GO!

 So, friends...even if it doesn't feel like summer where you are, it IS coming - and thanks to Fun Filled Prints and the Summer Fun stamp set, you can have an early taste of the season of sunshine! It's coming! I promise!
