Squeeze the Day Citrus-Inspired Handmade Cards {Impression Obsession Summer Release}

Hello friends! TODAY is a beautiful day to CELEBRATE! We're kicking off the summer stamp release at Impression Obsession - and I have been DYING to share this cute citrus stamp set with you! It's absolutely perfect for bright summer cards and crafts.  Let's take a look, okay?

First up, let's look at the Squeeze the Day card. The bright yellow with black and white just makes me SMILE. I love that bold color combo - sometimes yellow/black/white looks like a bumblebee, but I think with the strong citrus pattern, and the little pop of green leaves, it doesn't feel like it's buzzing! 

Next up, I created another lemon slice background, but with the outline stamp. I added just a bit of watercolor to the background, but it's pretty much another stamp-and-go idea. Then I created a fun little fruity drink scene as a focal point. 

Wouldn't this stamp set be adorable for pool party invitations?  I KNOW these cards have you thinking about fruity drinks, poolside. Plus, depending on the ink colors you use, these fruits could be limes too! And the slices could easily be oranges as well. I'll be trying out some different fruit the next time I play but I just couldn't stop with the sunshiny lemons for today!
