Aloha friends!!! Today I'm feeling the summer vibes as my kids finish up the last few weeks of the school year, and I've made a handmade card to celebrate, featuring the Pineapple Welcome stamp set from Impression Obsession. If you're ready for summer, you will love this clear stamp set!
To begin this card, I colored the images with my favorite colored pencils, then I trimmed them and had fun piecing together the stamped images to make a colorful tropical scene. The crisp clear shapes are easy to color and I really had fun with this one. Normally I don' like to spend a long time on coloring, but I sat at the coffee table and had a really good time just coloring.
Before I started assembling the fruit and flowers on this card, I used some pale blue ink and sponged it onto the background panel and splattered it with FSJ's Cool Pool Silk. It just added the right amount of color to this clean and simple cardmaking idea.
