Love You More Valentine {Impression Obsession Challenge}

The days until Valentines Day are counting down shockingly FAST! There's still time to get some sweet handmade Valentine cards in the mail though. Today's card is part of the latest challenge at the Impression Obsession blog, and our theme is Hugs & Kisses! Gotta sneak in one last Valentine project before the big day! Let's take a look at today's card:
 Today's card features only ONE stamp and ONE die. That's all! The Love You More stamp makes a great impression and I love the outline font plus the script font on top. It's all one stamp, folks! Super cool, right?! Click here to check out this great sentiment stamp - and as always at Impression Obsession, you can get it wood mounted or cling mounted!

For the background of this card, I used the same sentiment stamp. I stamped it across a white panel of cardstock using red ink, and then I layered a sheet of vellum on top. The vellum allows the color and print to show through, but it softens it just enough so that the background isn't too distracting. This is one of my favorite tricks when stamping a busy background. And the black and white embossed sentiment really takes center stage, accented with a double ribbon bow and heart embellishment.

Do you have ONE stamp and ONE die that you can combine onto a card? I bet you do! Look for a sentiment with lots of personality, and see what you can create! Oh - and of course, while you're crafting, try out this month's challenge at the Impression Obsession blog - Hugs & Kisses. One lucky winner will receive a gift certificate to the IO Shop, so trust me - you WANT to get in on that!
