Check Out Three Father's Day Cards that Feature Dad's Favorite Hobbies

Is your dad a science geek with a computer smarts? Or is he a fixer and a builder who can make something from nothing and fix everything you break? Is his favorite place next to the grill, cooking up all the BBQ you can eat, and maybe a beer in hand? No matter Dad's hobby, it's easy to make a customized handmade Father's Day card with just the right stamp set. Today I have three cards that you can make with just black ink, no fancy techniques, and simple supplies - and depending on the stamps you use, you can customize the theme for your dad or grandfather's favorite things.  Let's take a look at a few ideas!

All three of these cards follow the same basic idea. Simple stamping of three or four coordinating images, and one is cut out (or die cut) and added on with foam tape for a pop of dimension. They all feature the "World's Best Dad" stamp as a main sentiment, and all have a strip of my favorite striped paper along the bottom.

First up, for the dad who loves to BBQ. An apron, grill, and spatula are the focal point for this card. Since there's no coloring on these cards, they'll come together easily!

Next up, you'll see I used the same idea but I turned the card sideways. It just worked better for the shape and size of my stamped images on this tool and construction themed card.

And last but certainly not least, for the Geek Chic dad, this card finishes out the today's trio. What stamps do you have in your stash that would be perfect for the dads in your life? The stamp set might not have anything to do with Father's Day, but it might be just what you need for personalized cards! Check below for links to all of today's stamp sets - almost all of them are on sale right now at FSJ, so it's a great time to grab some new supplies for your stash! Shop the entire sale HERE.
