Make a Simple Thank You Card With a Polka Dot Butterfly

Hello my crafty friends! Today is Old is New Day at Impression Obsession, where we celebrate the best loved oldies-but-goodies in our stamp stash that need a little inky playtime. Today's card features a fabulous polka dotted butterfly stamp that looks AMAZING in black and white! Ready to take a look?

The Dotted Butterfly looks so crisp embossed in black on white cardstock. I'm always a sucker for polka dots, and this butterfly definitely delivers the POP I was hoping for! To stick with the black and white, I embossed the sentiment in white onto black cardstock - but then I added some pops of color with the background and embellishments.

The Watercolor Lines background stamp has a great texture to it and it looks like brushstrokes. It is a large stamp that will fill the whole background of a card base.

Be sure to stop by the Impression Obsession blog to see all of the designers who are participating in Old Is New day today. I just know they have some cute projects to share with us!

Also, don't forget that the latest challenge is still going on for a few more days - our theme this time is Tickled - Funny Cards. You can find all those details on this post at the IO blog, and you might just win a prize for entering!

Lastly, did you see the giant SALE section of the Impression Obsession website? Many clear stamp sets are half off, and some are offering free coordinating dies! Awesome deals abound! Shop the sale HERE.
