Mini slimline cards are a super fun size to create, and they're a great way to use those 6x6 patterned paper pads you've been stashing! Today let's look at a set of four simple mini slimline cards using beautiful summer patterned paper. My favorite thing about these summer slimline cards is that there's absolutely NO paper waste. You'll get two cards from each piece of patterned paper. And the slimline size (at 3.25x6.25) is perfectly paired for 6x6 papers.

Each of these four mini slimline cards starts with a solid card base, and then the tough part . . .deciding which patterned paper to use first! I created these cards with the photorealistic paper pad called By the Sea, from Impression Obsession. I simply cut the paper in half, and made two of each card.

love using the Magic Mat from scrapbook.com with my die cutting machine, because it alleviates those pesky cutting lines on the underneath side of die cut shapes. You know, the ones from your best used cutting plates?
