Can you beLEAF it's day two of Impression Obsession's October release blog hop?! I told you I can't stop with the new Simple Leaves dies, and today I've paired them with the punny clear stamps, called Leaf Sayings, to make a fun fall shaker card!

When you order a new die set, the pieces often come attached together. They can be easily snipped apart with wire snips or scissors, but sometimes I like to keep them attached together if it's just a few pieces like this set of three fall leaves. It made creating this shaker card simple, because I just left the dies attached, and ran it through the machine one time. For today's card we're using the negative space left over from the leaves as our shaker card openings. To assemble a shaker card, add a piece of clear acetate behind the openings. Then, surround the open areas with foam tape. (I just created one large area - not a separate shaker for each leaf.) Last, fill the space with sequins and add the back panel of cardstock to sandwich it all together.
