I LOVE all of the new Polaroid goodies I'm seeing these days. Stamps, digital elements. . .lots of cool stuff for making fun retro looking projects. I don't happen to HAVE any of the cute stamps and products featuring Polaroid or retro photos . .. so I decided to attempt my own.
And, I have to say, umm. . .hello EASY PEASY!
It's a white rectangle.
With a blue square.
(Seriously, you can handle this!)
And then I stamped my cutie patootie pals, from The {Stamps} of Life. I added a little sentiment/caption - and TA DAHHHH!!!! A Polaroid!
I had to do a little fancy work with these two boys, because I rearranged their arms, and drew the hand on. The boy is from this month's regular release at TSOL, called Kids2Love, and some of the hair and accessories are from the Extras4Kids, this month's special release set.
Once I spent all that time on the Polaroid, I was worried that I wouldn't know what to do with it. But I kept the card super simple, to keep the focus on the image. Just a fun little strip of Echo Park paper, and a few tiny buttons.
I hope you like it, and I hope you have had THE best weekend!!!!! I am excited to spend the first week of summer vacation with Mr. B, my first-grader to be!

Super cute! I'm going to swipe this idea for my kids to send notes to their friends.
Cute card! Love your DIY polaroid ;)
It would be a sweet idea to send best wishes to an engaged couple too!

TFS! I have been oggling over the stamp sets available but can't seem to allow myself to spend $15 for the stamp set. It turned out really great, I would have never thought to try it myself! ;)
