This Calls For a Huge Celebration! Easy Graduation Cardmaking Ideas

Graduation season is upon us and you can make the occasion extra special by making handmade cards, party decor, and gifts for the graduate in your life. Today's ideas and products will be perfect whether you're celebrating a kindergarten grad, or a college grad - and all the achievements in between. Today I'll share FIVE easy graduation cards that you can make with a few themed crafting supplies, plus you can customize the ideas to whatever your grad's school colors or favorite colors are.

Graduation stamps and dies are pretty standard - you'll have a cap with a tassel in just about every set, and some kind of congratulatory sentiment. Even if you don't have the stamps and dies that I've used, I bet you can recreate these ideas with your own items.

To show you how easy it is to add in your own graduation stamps and dies I've created one card two ways, using different product. Both of these first two cards feature a die-cut cap, simple layered cardstock and a sentiment. Use what you already have to create this idea, and tailor the colors to your graduate's school colors.

To create this next card idea, it only takes three stamps: a grad cap, confetti, and sentiment. Stamp a graduation cap image repeatedly to create a background. Finish it off with some stamped confetti, and a quick little brush of color with watercolor. A celebratory sentiment on a die-cut circle finishes up this cute card!
Next: another three-stamp wonder! The star block image is just perfect to cover a background panel. Stamp it repeatedly and then add color using ink, marker, or watercolor. Two coordinating sentiments finish off this card. If you want to add more details, try a gel pen to add subtle highlights along the stars. (Bonus Idea: Change up the sentiment and make this a super fun birthday card!)
Last but certainly not least. . . .grab some of your favorite patterned paper and add this simple die cut shape of graduate silhouettes. Finish it off with a die cut sentiment and a few gems. So festive - and SO easy peasy.
