Hello my crafty friends! We are embracing summer on the blog today, and I'm embracing it in real life too! My family is heading out for to a two-week vacation in a few days, so I am doing ALL the things to get ready. I'm not sure if I'll enjoy a fruity beverage while I'm away, but today's cards just SCREAM of sunsets, cold fruity drinks, and summertime relaxation and fun.
Today's projects feature the Party Drinks clear stamp set from Impression Obsession and I really had fun with these! Would you like to take a look?
To make this first card, I made some simple stripes of watercolor across a panel of white cardstock. The colors remind me of water, sand, and sunset. Perfect for summer!
Next, I stamped the drinks and I colored them with watercolor pencils. I trimmed these images, but IO does sell a coordinating die set!
For the next card I kept it extra clean and simple, but still with some loose watercolor flair. I stamped the images and sentiment, and then just splotched down some watercolor blobs (classy huh?) to add color to each fruity party drink.
