It's time for the latest challenge on the Impression Obsession blog, and the theme is called At the Beach. Even though we're back to school around here, it's still about 10,000 degrees outside so we are still happy to fit in some days at the beach.
For today's card I did a lot of die-cutting to craft up a summer beach scene. First, I diecut the waves and beach, and then I die-cut those pieces into a circle shape. So basically, I die-cut my die-cut shapes. LOL.
The stitched edges on these dies add such a perfect detail to EVERY card I use them on. I absolutely love it. It just gives all the shapes a little extra something-special. And this scene paired with fabulous yellow polka-dotted paper makes me HAPPY.
I hope you'll head over to the Impression Obsession blog where you'll find links to the other designers' projects, as well as the challenge rules, and a place to link up YOUR At the Beach challenge card. Seriously - y'all need to get in on this! It's a great chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the IO store!
