Do You Love Pink Christmas Cards? {New From Impression Obsession}

Welcome to Day 1 of the Impression Obsession Winter Die Release Blog Hop! I am thrilled to share some fun new diecutting ideas for your holiday cards, using the festive new dies that are available NOW! Both of today's cards feature one of my favorite colors for Christmas cards (and decorations) - PINK!

Let's dive right into the PINK Christmas magic of today's cards!

I absolutely KNEW I needed some pink when I pulled out the Retro Ornaments Dies. They have such a funky and fresh vintage feel, and this die set is really so much fun to mix and match with. To begin this card, I pulled a couple of bright colors of cardstock, as well as a sheet of silver metallic cardstock. Then I rolled all the dies through my machine on each color. Then, I sat and mixed and matched to make these three ornaments.

 For the sentiment, I mixed and matched again - a stamped word mixed with a die-cut word. The die is from the new Typewriter Sentiments. (You'll see more of this set in a minute!) It's filled with great words for holiday projects, plus a few words you can actually use all year!
 Next, another PINK Christmas card - but this one is balanced with a little more traditional red and green. I love the addition of the light pink on this card too. I really just went with the fun colors of the patterned paper to create this color scheme. The candy cane die is a lot of fun - it has a solid cane for the underneath (white) layer plus the stitched layer with the cut outs (pink) to go on top. You can use them independently or together. Lots of creative options with this, and I absolutely love the holly and berries that come with the set. I know I'll be using those a LOT!
Alright my friends, here's the important details:

My parents bought those 'retro' ornaments and colors were the new trend, and they always remind me of those Christmas' when I was young and living at home. I use more traditional colors to appease my husband's taste, but I love bright and non-traditional colors for Christmas!
