How To Make a Clean and Simple Christmas in Classic Colors

Welcome to Day 2 of the Impression Obsession Winter Die Celebration! I'm so happy to share two brand new cards featuring dies that are available NOW in the IO Shop! If you stopped by yesterday, I shared one of my favorite colors for Christmas cards. Today I have another favorite color combination. It's a classic combo of red, black, white and kraft. Crisp and cozy all rolled into one, isn't it? It makes me think of cozy logs in the fire, mixed with red wrapping paper and my all-time favorite combination of black and white (all year long, give me black and white!)
For the first card, I started with a panel of embossed white cardstock. The beauty of this clean and simple card is that it's clean.and.simple. I diecut the sentiment, the snowflake, and the pinked circle and assembled the card. It can't get much easier than this, my friends!
I wanted to create with these snowflakes a little bit more, and I wanted to get some BIG contrast on this card, so I paired the crisp white snowflakes with cozy black and red buffalo check paper on a kraft card base.
The word PEACE is from the brand new Typewriter Sentiments dies. (There's more inspiration with that set on yesterday's post!) This was another card that just came together really quickly and simply. Die-cut and GO. Love that, especially for Christmas cards!
The Impression Obsession Winter Die Release is in the shop NOW. Today is the second day of our blog hop celebration. The hop begins on the IO blog. Every single blog will have a $25 gift certificate to give away for the event - so the more you comment through our Release Celebration the more chances to win! All comments for all of the event days will be open until Thursday September 19th at midnight CT. All winners will be announced on Friday September 20th. (Be sure to check in on yesterday's post if you missed it!)

Don't miss a stop along the way! There's so much inspiration to see!

Great contrast on these cards, and I too love this color combo!!! Though I have to admit I prefer gray over kraft, but I can appreciate kraft for holiday cards. But my house is all black, white, and gray... with pops of color that I change out per season :-) So much fun to accessorize with b/w/g as a backdrop! I so love the Buffalo plaid card!!!
