lauralooloo: Two Joyful Christmas Card Ideas with Winter Foliage

Two of my favorite dies for Christmas cardmaking this year are the Joy die and the Winter Foliage die from Impression Obsession. Because they work so well together, today I have two different diecutting ideas for these beauties. This post is part of the latest challenge at Impression Obsession, and the theme is Holiday Wishes. Let's talk about the Winter Foliage die set first. This set has 18 different branches, leaves and berries. BUT they're all attached together so one quick pass through the diecutting machine will give you a whole little pile of pieces to use. I ran the die through the machine twice for this first card with two different shades of green and then I mixed and matched the colors.

For the sweet little poinsettias, I used the flowers from the Spring Wreath die set. They are the perfect size to complement the foliage.

The next card idea is a great way to use up lots of little pieces of this and that. I die cut a few more pieces but I also used what was left over from the previous card. I laid everything out and glued it down - easy peasy. A few gold dots finished it off.
