Color me HAPPY (and make someone else happy too!)

Oh friends, we need ALL the happy right now. So it seems like a good day to share a few HAPPY cardmaking ideas. Both are surely filled with bright colors and lots of cheer. Perfect for popping in the mail to let someone know that near or far, you are thinking of them and missing them.

Have you sent any mail lately, while cooped up, quarantined, and hanging out at home? I've sent out a pretty good stack of cards lately and I've gotten some happy mail myself - so I can say it DOES indeed make a difference - especially when walking to the mailbox is one of the scheduled daily activities!

So let's look at these cards. This truck. I can't even with this cutie. I would LOVE to see this truck driving down the street, sharing love and happiness along the way. Isn't this image adorable? I had fun coloring this with markers, something that I don't do often. And that sentiment? Cuteness on ALL types of cards. I'm excited to play more with this one and experiment with ways to color the HAPPY.
Next up - another perfect card to send to someone right now. Some have settled in to life at home and it feels okay. Others are really having a tough time, and it's up to all of us to do what we can to assist, uplift, support and look out for one another. So...be the rainbow in someone else's cloud. That's what we have to do!
How amazing is this raindrop background? This is a new background stamp from Impression Obsession. To make this background, I puddled assorted colors of Liquid Color (liquid dye ink) onto a large clear block and then stamped my background stamp right into the color. I put colors next to each other that would blend together nicely and not become a muddy, ugly mess. Rainbow colored raindrops? Yes please.
I hope these cards brighten YOUR day and inspire you to brighten the day for someone else! We're all in this together, and it's a great time to use your crafty spirit to make the world a better place! What will YOU do today? Love you all, my crafty peeps! xoxo

PS. Don't forget about the sale still going on at Impression Obsession - 25% off the entire store! What what!? Use the code TOGETHER. Sale ends March 29, 2020.
