Look What's NEW - Summer Stamp Release from Impression Obsession!

Oh, summer! In these weird days of quarantine, with my whole family home all day - it almost feels like summer.  And the brand new stamp release from Impression Obsession has me ready to turn on the sprinkler and slice up the watermelon while I craft up some summertime cards. Want to join me catching some summertime vibes and check out the new goodies? (Stay with me, because there's a chance to WIN, plus some FREEBIES I want to share!)

This blog post contains affiliate links. When you shop through my links, I may receive compensation at no cost to you. Thank you from the bottom of my crafty heart!

First up, these flip flops!!!  Can you even stand the cuteness? This stamp is fantastic for stamping backgrounds, or using as a focal point on cards. On the first card, I stamped the background and then used my Jane Davenport Colorsticks to add bright, bold, scribbly color on top. Any type of pastel, Gelatos, or even crayons look really fun with this loose technique.

On the second card,  I stamped the image onto patterned paper for some cutie pie polka dotty flip flops! This card is SO quick and simple, but lots of fun with the wave background, dots, and that SWEET summer sentiment.

And if those flip flops don't have you feeling the allure of summer, how about some sweet, fresh watermelon? There are two new watermelon slice images and a coordinating sentiment in this release. Since these stamps all come individually grab one slice, both slices, and whichever sentiments you'd like and mixy matchy it up. I paper-pieced these watermelons with patterned paper which is really quite easy with this simple image.

(New to all this crafty talk? Paper-piecing means I stamped each watermelon once on pink paper and once on green. I trimmed the whole stamped images from pink, and then trimmed just the rind from green and glued it on top. Ta- dah! Paper piecing!)
So, my SWEET summer friends - here's the juicy news:
The entire new summer release at Impression Obsession is on the website NOW. To celebrate, the design team is blog hopping - today is day 1 of our three day celebration. (April 8-10th.) Each day the list of designers participating will be posted on the IO blog. On Monday April 13th at noon, each designer blog will have a random winner chosen from their comments - so for the best chances, be sure to leave a comment on each blog post each day! The winners will receive a $25 gift certificate to the IO shop.

But wait, I also promised you a freebie, right? Actually - it's MANY freebies. Two of our amazing designers at Impression Obsession (Nola Chandler and Lindsay Ostrom) have created some darling FREE coloring sheets and printables to pass the time during quarantine. There are adorable reminders to wash your hands, printable thank you cards, and so much more. You do NOT want to miss these. You'll find all of them right here on the IO website.  Here's a little sneak peek at the coloring I started:
