Hello friends! It's the second day of the Impression Obsession Summer stamp release celebration and today I'd like to feature two of the fun new milestone birthday stamps. These stamps will make cardmaking for those BIG birthdays lots of fun. Today we'll look at ideas for a 40th birthday as well as a Sweet 16 birthday card. Both are colorful and fun and they use some of my favorite new stamps!

Lordy Lordy Look Who's 40
On this card, I began by stamping the image on white cardstock. I fussy cut it, and added some aqua marker to the 40. I love these individual stamps because they pair so nicely with other stamps, for any theme you want to create. I went with a floral theme on this card, because I cannot get enough of these new flower images. (You'll see a lot MORE floral love with these stamps in tomorrow's post.) I love the look of these flowers tucked around the main image. To ground it a bit I added a strip of black glitter washi tape and added a few contrasting enamel dots.
Sweet 16 Card
I went with a similar color scheme on this Sweet 16 card idea because a.) I can't ever get enough pink + aqua and b.) It just seems perfect for a festive Sweet 16 card. I began this card similarly as the first. Stamp and trim the main stamp, and color with markers. But for this card, I paired it with some other new birthday stamps, from the clear stamp set called Happy Birthday. These images are all from Nola Chandler, so they coordinate perfectly and have lots of mixable matchable possibilities. How FUN. Some matching patterned paper, enamel dots, and a piece of sparkle washi finished off this fun card.
It's been so much fun hanging out with you this week - don't forget, we've got one more day of blog hopping tomorrow!
