After the framed sentiment was ready to go, I adhered it onto a white embossed card base and then started the fun part - arranging the greenery. (It's almost as fun as arranging real Christmas greenery!) The Winter Foliage die set is made up of 18 different dies. They all come attached together, and rather than cut them apart, I keep them all as one die so that I can cut a whole bunch of pieces at one time and have them ready to play with.
A few simple embellishments finished off this card, and I think the whole thing feels like sort of a fresh twist on a classic idea. And now - it's your turn. Want to dive into some of your favorite dies and CREATE? Maybe it's time to start thinking about holiday cards and crafts! Over on the IO blog, you'll find links to all of the designers participating in Die Cut Obsession Day, and I'm sure you'll find all kinds of inspiration!
Before you go, I don't want you to miss a couple things:
First, we're in the midst of a current card making challenge on the IO blog, and the theme is SUMMER FUN. (Ya know, to contrast with my Christmas card today - LOL!) You have a great chance to win a prize, so COME and play! Find the scoop HERE.
Next, don't forget about the fantastic SALE section on the Impression Obsession website! Many clear stamp sets are half off, and some are offering free coordinating dies! Awesome deals abound! Shop the sale HERE.
