Look What Else is NEW at Impression Obsession!

 Hey there my crafty peeps! It's Day 2 of the Impression Obsession March Release and today's card ideas are sunny and bright and ready for spring and summer. Today's cards feature a sweet sunflower. This stamp is called Small Sunflower, but as you can see, it's a really good size on a handmade card. For the first card, I stamped it on yellow cardstock and then added colored pencil highlights and shadows for shading. On the background you'll notice a fun new die set called Three Rectangle Frames. This is a fun set to mix and match with because the die cuts out the stitched tag shape PLUS the outline for lots of possibilities. This is a great set for creating backgrounds (as you see on this card) plus for small sentiments - and even to make tags and labels. Total cuteness, AND practical, right?!

Next, I did some fun watercoloring and made a background with the sunflowers. For a slightly funky color palette, I added dark blue for the flower centers and a bright green background. A simple sentiment finished off this card.
