Were These Your Favorite Stamps? Check Out These NEW Refreshed Stamp Sets!

Goodness, my crafty peeps. It's a big day over at Spellbinders Paper Arts with some seriously cute new products hitting the shop! Today on my blog we're going to take a look at just a few. If you've been a fan of Spellbinders or FSJ for a while, these might look familiar in a beautiful new way! Let's take a look!

So here's the deal. If you were a fan of Fun Stampers Journey (which is now part of Spellbinders) you might recognize the images in the new Hit the Road and Hello Sunflower stamp sets. We've given them (along with a few other favorites) a bit of a refresh, and resize, and we've produced them as clear photopolymer stamps. They. Are. Amazing. 

The issue of clear vs. rubber stamps gets some people fired up. Are you a die hard clear stamper? Or a rubber-only stamper? Perhaps you're somewhere in the middle, like me, and you're an equal opportunity stamper? ;) My only requirement is - QUALITY. Don't you dare give me some crummy quality clear stamp that doesn't stamp well. I am an absolute snob when it comes to the quality of my clear stamps - and these, I'm happy to report are the REAL DEAL. They stamp beautifully and they are highest quality photopolymer (made in the USA.) 

Okay, so let's talk about this card, now that we've gotten our feelings out. Both of today's cards feature a fun new die set called Color Block Slices. This die set allows you to make sun rays, and more for the background of cards. After that beautiful background, I simply stamped and fussy cut the sunflowers, added a die cut block with sentiment, and finished off with some embellishments. (I also added a few accents with a white gel pen.) 

The next card features the Hit the Road stamp set, (and those cute Color Block Slices dies again!) I did some more simple stamping for this card, and just added some details to the car with a white colored pencil.
