The sentiments on today's cards are from the She Positives stamp set from Impression Obsession and they're some of my favorites! The set also includes: With moxie she lives, and With courage she did it anyway.

If you're sitting down to make a card, I challenge you - make TWO cards with those supplies. Today's projects are an example of that. I already had all of the stamps and supplies out, so it was easy peasy to make TWO.

I began this card with a sheet of watercolor paper. I misted it with water and then began adding drops of liquid dye ink (I absolutely love Jane Davenport's Inkredible Inks for this technique.) The inks bleed and blend together and I just had fun letting the ink do it's thing. In the end, I had a sheet with shades of greens and teal. I let it dry completely and then I stamped the flower and branch images right on top of all those beautifully blended colors.

(TIP: Never have luck stamping on textured watercolor paper? Use the MISTI! It's the perfect tool for that because you can repeat stamp the image to get dark, even coverage.)

Once the images were stamped and fussy cut, I had lots of floral bits and pieces, which is what actually inspired me to make two coordinating cards. I even already had the scalloped die cut circle from a previous project, so that helped guide my colors and design.

A large heart from the floral stamp set because the focal point for my second card. The Wild Rose Heart stamp set is a clear photopolymer set and it's on clearance right now. Once it's gone, it's GONE so at 50% off, now is the time to grab it!
