Some of my favorite patterned papers have small prints (perfect for card making) and are often monochromatic tone-on-tone prints. These types of paper are perfect for die cutting a nesting set of bowls for today's card. They aren't SO busy that it's distracting, but they add a really fun and unexpected zip of interest to the stack of bowls.I grabbed the cute blue gingham because it reminded me of a tablecloth, and it provided a resting spot for the dishes, and then finished off the card with a SOUPER sentiment, a spoon, and some adorable hearts.
Today's blog post is part of Die Cut Obsession Day on the Impression Obsession blog. It's the day we celebrate all things die-cutting! Stop by the IO blog for a list of designers participating.
