Halloween cards come together easily when you start with awesome products, like this Ghost die. This one simple die, a few pre-made bows, plus a stamped sentiment was all it took to make this spooky-cute card! I'm in love with the stitched edges on the ghosts - it's the perfect finishing detail and it die-cuts easily!
Recognize this friendly ghost? He's back in action on this card, paired with a die cut spider and the word BOO.
The next three cards all feature the quirky and adorable bats from the You're Batty stamp set. This red rubber stamp set is on SALE at an amazing price, and it's been one of my best loved Halloween stamp sets. These little guys look amazing when heat-embossed in black, or stamped in regular black ink. Easy peasy!
Next up, a simple way to create a card with fun patterned papers - dig through your stash, because you might have just the right prints for a Halloween card, even if they aren't technically Halloween papers. Look for polka dots, stripes, and gingham in oranges, greens, or purples and see what you can mix and match! This is a simple card layout for any time of year - just change up the papers and sentiment and make cards for every occasion!
Do you love to watercolor? This Too Cute to Spook stamp creates simple Halloween cards because the stamp fills almost the whole card front. I had so much fun watercoloring this image, but you could use markers, colored pencils, or paper-piece it to add color to this sweet stamp. Here's another watercolored Halloween card. This one was loose and messy and fun to create. I started with liquid dye inks, and added them along with water to a sheet of watercolor paper. I let them layer together, mix and blend to create a crazy colorful background. Then I added a little twine - I mean spider webs, and added the absolutely adorable Spider Trio stamps. Those legs look tricky to cut? Not a problem because they have a coordinating die!
This next card begins with some of the sweetest skeletons you'll ever meet! I started with a piece of white cardstock that I inked up using re-inkers on my Gel Press. Then, I embossed the skeletons in black on white cardstock and fussy cut them to pop them up on my card base. They are funny and funky and they make me smile!
Last, but certainly not least. . . not so much into Halloween cards? You'll love this fall idea that celebrates the pumpkins and the season, without the spooky . . .just ALL the sweet.
I hope today's Halloween cards have inspired you! I'm so glad you stopped by today . . .Let's connect again - subscribe so you don't miss a blog post!
