Today's first card features some watercolor flowers. To create this idea, start with watercolor paper and splash, splatter, and paint the paper with shades of yellow and orange. After it's dry, die cut the flower petals and layer them together. (Use the same watercolor technique with shades of green for the leaves.) Next, die cut the flower centers from brown cardstock. This die set features a few different pieces that can be layered together or used individually.Let's take a look at the second card idea for today. It has a more monochromatic flower, with a smiley center (from the new Sprinkles & Confetti stamp set) but it also features . . . .trash. (Wait, what? Yes.) I went trash picking for a fantastic element on this card - a package came in the mail with some great thin corrugated cardboard, and I've been using it on a bunch of cards lately! Corrugated cardboard adds some really fun texture and dimension to crafts, and I love the rough torn edges. (There's a LOT of dimension on this one, so this will probably be a hand-delivered card!)
