For this month's Meet Up Challenge, I have some clean and simple (I repeat: clean and simple) cards to share with you. I made a whole set of them, because I like them so much! This project really shows off the beautiful detail of Lil' Inker Designs stitched dies. Would you like to see how I created it?
First up, I die cut a Rounded Rectangle. Then I positioned the Sketched Flower die onto the rectangle, and held it in place with a little washi tape. (below)
The Sketched Flowers die has negative stitching, so after I diecut the flower, it leaves this beautiful stitched outline OUTSIDE of the shape.
Next, I stamped a sentiment on the rectangle, adhered it to my card base, and then stamped the flower on the die-cut flower shape. Then, I adhered it with foam tape, right back in its spot - it creates such a lovely subtle dimension.
This card is perfect for so many occasions - sympathy, or celebration! So I made a few different ones for all kinds of occasions. I think I'll try the flower in pink next time! And now. . . .be inspired and join in the Lil' Inker Monthly Meet Up Challenge! Here's all the info you need to know:
- Make a new project or share something you've been working on featuring LID goodies!
- Post this project to your blog or favorite gallery.
- Link your project to the challenge by using the InLinkz tool on the Lil' Inker blog.
- You have until 4/18/15 at 11:30 PM EST to link up your project to be eligible to win a prize. Projects should exclusively feature LID goodies to be eligible to win but do not need to exclusively feature LID goodies to join our Meetup.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy crafting!!! xoxo
