Today, the third and final day of our blog hop, I'd like to share some petal cards with you! These cards are so super sweet, and quite fun to create! This is what the die looks like, and it shows you the folded finished card as well. This petal card can be an envelope, with a cute tiny card inside - OR the inside IS the card. Plus the petal card fits in the new glassine envelopes, available in the Lil' Inker store.
Okay, so now that you get it - (wait - you get it, right?) here are a few petal cards I created to share with you today! This first is super sweet, and full of girly fabulous colors. I stamped the inside, and added some die-cut shapes, using the Awesome Blossom stamps and dies. Then on the outside I created a band to wrap around the card. I used the Long and Skinny Rectangles die - the longest die is JUST long enough to wrap around, and then I added the flower and twine bow on top. To open the card, the band just slides off.
Seriously - how sweet is that!? I can't wait to try these out for Valentine's, gift tags, and maybe even some lunchbox notes. (My fourth grader would be horrified, but my preschooler still thinks notes from Mom are cool!)
Okay, next up - I paired the petal card die with the Speech Bubbles 2 dies, plus the Just Sayin' Stamps and I decorated the back side (which in this case, became the front!) I added some patterned paper and a stitched square die to the inside, with one more stamped sentiment. These little cards are so much fun!

Your petal cards are just DARLING!! I'll bet if your 4th grader is a girl, she would love the flowered one, and a boy would like a 'manly' one!

The way you designed the petal die cards is really sweet!
The Petal Card cards are just too sweet. Seeing one in your hand helps to see how big (or small)they are. Just love this die and the envelopes.
