Christmas Crafts: Advent Holiday Projects - Part 1 {Fun Stampers Journey}

Hello friends! I'm having a mixture of emotions about the upcoming holiday season, which suddenly is UPON US. (It's here people. November. HELLO.) I can't decide whether I'm ready to dive into the festivities and start decorating, or whether I want time to somehow slow the heck down. Seriously. November.

November does bring some fun crafting projects though, as we anticipate December. (ARGGHH! December! STOP!!!) Fun Stampers Journey has a pretty dang fun bundle of goodness (and it happens to be 30% off this month) to help us count down to Christmas. The FSJ Advent Box Bundle includes everything needed to make your own advent boxes. Fill them with just about anything, and your family will be ready to count down to Christmas!

I spent a bit of time on this box, first embossing it and using the Create a Bow - Mini die, plus some extra stamped details. If you think ahead as you decorate, you could probably use the boxes year after year. And if you're in a hurry, the tags are all preprinted and ready to roll, so even if you just die-cut the tag (with the included Bread Tag die) and stick it on with some washi tape, you'll be good to GO.

 Wondering what to fill your advent boxes with? Here are a few quick ideas:
-candy, cookies, popcorn (the holidays are ALL food ALL the time, right!?)
-movie or miniature golf tickets
-toy cars, Legos, Pokemon cards (can you tell I have BOYS in my house!?)
-nail polish and manicure goodies
-a notebook and pencil set
-craft supplies
-cocoa packets and marshmallows
-stickers
-a small stuffed animal
-a scented candle
-golf balls and tees
-a coupon for family movie night, a date night, or a spa day

Check back all month long for more projects featuring the FSJ Advent Bundle, and be sure to stop by Fun Stampers Journey for more advent and autumn inspiration on their blog! Also, do you follow FSJ on Instagram and Pinterest? Don't miss any of the FUN!
