Boo! It's almost trick-or-treat time! How about some sweet and spooky Halloween cards today? They all feature the stamp set called You're Batty. It's one of my favorite sets for Halloween, with adorable and slightly quirky bats!

I had fun using a variety of stamps to create the background on this card. Overlapping stamps and colors is a creative way to create a happy hangout for stamped images like my bat. I embossed the bat with Clear Pigment Ink, and Journey Black Embossing Powder, so he has a great puffy texture and shine in real life. To attach the bat, I popped him up on some foam squares for lots of dimension. I left a lot of white space to balance out all the busy patterns going on - it's always good to give the eyes a resting spot.
The Creepy Crawly stamp set from FSJ + Spellbinders is the perfect complement to You're Batty because they both feature some spooky and sweet friends for Halloween cards, treat bags, and paper crafts of all kinds. I love both of these stamp sets!
If you love the You're Batty Stamp Set, you'll love these cards I created too! These were previously featured on the FSJ blog, and I just love them both. So many fun possibilities with these quirky bats!
