Pink Watercolor Pineapples Make Me Ridiculously Happy!

Fun Stampers Journey has THE cutest pineapple stamp in their Summer Fun Stamp Set. I can't get enough of it! I love using it to stamp backgrounds, and for today's card,  I found inspiration from a bright and summery bag I saw in a store - it was Lilly Pulitzer's Flamenco pattern featuring PINK pineapples.

After stamping the pineapples in Watermelon Fusion ink, I used Color Splash watercolor pencils to quickly shade them in, and then flicked a little remaining color over the cardstock with my paintbrush. A sentiment, and a thin strip of patterned paper added a nice pop of contrasting black.

The sentiment on this card is retired, but you could pop any kind of sentiment onto this fun card - it would be adorable for a birthday, anniversary, bon voyage, or thank you! (Seriously, who WOULDN'T want to receive a card with pink pineapples on it!?)

I really love the black design "ribbon" on the left side. Adds a great look to the card and makes the rest more dramatic!
