A few months ago I had a really fun assignment to play with the Spellbinders Indie collection. This was a special collection that was originally available at independent stores - but now part of this fun collection is available on the Spellbinders website! Today I have a card I created with some of the leftover die cuts on my desk, after I was done with my assignments. This card features the Layered Butterfly Die Set as well as the Hello Expressions Die Set. (This post contains compensated affiliate links, at no cost to you.)
First, I drew a loose circle of water onto a Color Splash Watercolor Sheet. Then I started adding Watermelon Fusion Liquid Color. I allowed areas to dry before I added more color, to add a lot of different shades. I sprinkled some table salt onto it while it was still wet to pick up some color and add some special effects to my watercolor. (I love that! To read more about the salt/watercolor technique, check out this blog post - Spellbinders Happy Octopus Card.)
Once the watercolor was dry, I added the die cuts, a little bit of washi tape and a splatter of Silk. BAM and done. Just a quick little fun playtime - and a little crafty playtime is good for the soul, don't you think?!
If you'd like to see more of the Indie collection, I have some more photos of the cards I previously made. They aren't fancy pictures, but they'll give you an idea of how cute these products are! I really had SO much fun making these! Products available on the Spellbinders website are linked under each photo, just in case you need to go check them out. (There's more cute samples on the website too!) Enjoy!
Phew - if you made it through this long photo-heavy blog post, kudos to you! If you have any questions about these projects, let me know - I spared you from an even LONGER post talking about the details of each one! If you love them, save them to Pinterest for later on!
And now - go check out all the links for these fun products at Spellbinders + FSJ. I'm totally in love with each of these sweet die sets! Which one is your favorite?

Laura, your first card is beautiful! Simple, pretty and doable. I love the faces on the sun and the cloud, and the octopus is adorable! I'll be back for more pretties!
