Be a Pineapple - Fresh Summer Handmade Card

It's Old Is New Day over on the Impression Obsession blog. It's easy (and fun) to keep adding the latest and greatest stamps and dies, but let's not forget about the older and well-loved products too. For today's card I pulled out some fun pineapple stamps and a darling sentiment.

To start this simple card, I stamped the three pineapples across a panel of FSJ's Haystack cardstock. These stamps are each sold individually, so I had fun picking my favorites from the shop. Next, I attached my panel to a Cool Pool base - because I cannot STOP with the Cool Pool and Haystack color combo. It's so much fun for summer!

To finish off the card, I stamped one more pineapple on Pineapple Smoothie cardstock. (You know you've picked the right color, when what you're stamping is the NAME of the paper!) I trimmed it and added it on along with my sentiment stamped on a die-cut circle. A few quick embellishments gave just the right POP of color, along with a splatter of Sparkle Silk.

Thanks so much for stopping by today - and now, head to the Impression Obsession blog to find a link list of the designers participating in Old Is New! I'm sure they have some fabulous oldies-but-goodies to share with you!
