In a spirit of gratefulness, I love to say THANK YOU, so thank you cards are always high on my must-make list. I like to keep a stash of them, and I have people who frequently ask me to make them a stash of thank-you's too.
When Impression Obsession released this gorgeous script THANKS stamp, in the most beautiful font (it's the perfect mix of fancy but casual, isn't it?) and in a size that is perfect for mostly-filling a card base, I was instantly in love!

Today I would love to show you a few different ways I've used this stamp. Every time I use it, I'm so pleased with the results - it is definitely my favorite stamp for thank you cards!
On this card, I paired thanks with a really fun BIG stamp called Jay's Flower. It's a versatile stamp because it looks adorable colored but I also love the simplicity of it embossed on colored cardstock. The green polka dots give this card a fresh springtime feel, and the strip of black cardstock helps the sentiment POP.
If you like to do mixed media, and you have fun trying different techniques with the Gel Press, stencils, paint, and more - then you likely have colorful sheets of fun lying around your craft space. I had accumulated a good stack of prints and play that I wasn't exactly sure what to do with - but I didn't want to throw them out. These next cards were the perfect use for them. The colors and patterns are interesting enough on their own to make a card base - and this gorgeous thanks stamp finished it off.
This is one of those glue-and-go projects. I picked coordinating colors of card bases, trimmed down some prints, and then stamped and trimmed the sentiment. Fastest cards ever. And every single one is unique!

The print on the card above was created with drops of Re-Inker on the Gel Press. I brayered the colors out just enough to blend them and stretch them a bit, and then I pulled prints. The swirly cards below were created with a shaving cream technique, using FSJ Liquid Colors.

If you aren't into mixed media, and messy playtime, think about your patterned paper stash! Don't you have some sheets of paper that are so pretty, you hate to cut them into tiny pieces? They are beautiful artwork all on their own - and those would be perfect for the background of your thank you cards.
I'm so grateful you stopped by today. If you'd like to snag my very favorite thanks stamp for yourself, you can find it (along with tons of other awesome thank you stamps) on the Impression Obsession website.
