Hello my crafty friends! Today we'll take a look at a fun way to use (a LOT of) banner and tag dies on a handmade card. It's fast and easy using the Small Tags die set from Impression Obsession.

This card begins with a simple die cut sentiment, the Big Thanks die. I love the contrast of fonts on this die - and it's all one die, except for the dot on the "i", so it's quite easy to use for cardmaking. The Whimsical Rectangle die was the perfect backdrop for my sentiment and its wonky stitched details are so cute! But now, for the focal point of this wild card - that crazy string of tiny tags. Aren't they adorable?! This is the Small Tags Die - it cuts all of these adorable tags all at one time. First, I cut the tags from two different shades of teal cardstock. Next, I strung them onto a length of twine, leaving room for some extra loops and bows on either end. Then, I adhered the string of tags to my card, using foam squares for some layers to add extra dimension. A few simple enamel dots finished off the card. (Always. Always with the enamel dots to finish my cards!)
Today's post is part of Impression Obsession's Die Cut Obsession Blog Hop. The design team is sharing die cutting magic today, and I hope you'll head over to the IO blog and find the list of participants! I can't wait to see what they've each created for today!
