It's not quite October, but I am READY - are you? I've pulled out my fall stamps, and I'm using my favorite fall colors on all of my projects. I can't ever get enough of this yellow, orange and aqua color palette so let's take a look at today's handmade autumn card.

This was a fun card to make, and I wasn't exactly sure how it was going to turn out. I'm happy with it though, and because pumpkins are pretty easy to cut, the fussy-cutting wasn't too bad.To begin, I stamped this row of adorable pumpkins across the card. This stamp is called Pumpkin Pals and it's large enough to be a focal point on a card, but I wanted LOTS and LOTS of pumpkins, so I stamped three rows of them.
Then, I stamped the pumpkins again on yellow and orange cardstocks. (FSJ Haystack and Tangerine Fusion) I began cutting the pumpkins. (TIP: Stamp the row of pumpkins a few times on each cardstock color because you'll have to fussy cut every other pumpkin.) Then I just began gluing pumpkins onto the aqua cardstock. I left a few plain because . . .well. . . .I just liked the way it looked!
The simple sentiment is perfect on a long strip of cardstock. I notched the bottom edge and added a staple and bow to the top. The whole thing is mounted onto an orange card base to tie the colors together.Today is Old is New Day at Impression Obsession, where we celebrate the best loved oldies-but-goodies in our stamp stash that need a little inky playtime.
