Create Your Own Rainbow: Don't Miss This Colorful Card Idea

You know me - always with the bright colors but a POP of black and white - and today's card is no exception! I had fun coloring these two stamped images with markers, and then I fussy cut them. That sweet little heart in the center of the rainbow is part of the same stamp. I just trimmed it apart and stuck it back in there.

I started out this card by inking a sunburst stencil for the background, but by the time the ink dried, and I added everything onto the card, it became hardly noticeable! The striped paper gives a bold grounding for the stamped images and then I just finished it off with a few embellishments. I love all of these rainbow stamps that Lindsay Ostrom created for this release, because they're all so simple to create with. They're quick to add a swish of color to, and every card turns out adorable if it has a colorful rainbow on it!

So happy and sweet! The sunburst background is very subtle, but adds something extra. Lovely work, as always!!
