How to make simple graphic handmade cards using cut paper triangles and die cut numbers and letters from Impression Obsession. Check out lots of ideas and inspiration at my blog.
Each one of today's cards is a little bit different, but they all start with the same thing. TRIANGLES. Using some simple cutting, you can create a colorful background for any type of cards.
  • Cut out a cardstock square.
  • Then, lay the square on your paper trimmer on the diagonal, trim to make two large triangles, and then trim each triangle to become two smaller ones.
  • Repeat for four different sheets of cardstock, and you'll have triangles for a variety of cards.
  • Reassemble the cardstock square onto the card base, using a triangle from each color, and then finish the card.
Happy 10th birthday card, or change this number to any age using number and birthday word dies from Impression Obsession. Visit my blog to see more ideas using these fun paper crafting products!
For the first card, I made a simple square shaped card and added a die cut sentiment on top. Simple, simple, right?
Happy 45! Use this idea for a birthday card for any age, using die cut numbers and words from Impression Obsession. This is a fun use for all the extra pieces you have left over when die cutting number and letter sets. Visit my blog to see more ideas!
Next up, I used up lots of little bits of numbers from other projects for a fun jumbled look. (I'm pretty sure it means, "You're HOW old?" ;)

And for the last card, I simply changed the layout of the four triangles.

Lovely job on your cards. On the first one I noticed the number 3 was missing. Was there something significant about that one? Inside joke maybe?[Bunny]
