I absolutely love simple die cut shapes. I might love diecutting even more than stamping - gasp! I get super excited about easy to use die cut shapes, especially when they have mix and match potential, like today's adorable flowers from Impression Obsession. For encouragement, birthday, Mother's Day, and beyond, these flowers are darling for a variety of cards, in a variety of colors.

Today's die set is called Mother's Day Flowers, but they're perfect for so much more. For both of today's cards, I die cut this sweet flower die set from a couple of colors and then mixed and matched the flowers and their centers. The first card has pink flowers with red centers, and then the reverse for my second card. I love to die cut once and make cards twice! With little bits of this and that on your desk, it's fun to just layer scraps and play with shapes. A simple stamped sentiment was all this cheerful encouragement card needed after I pulled together these fun colors and shapes.
Now, the reverse of my flowers - red flowers with pink centers. This is a bright and bold card idea for Mother's Day. I stamped two sentiments in the die cut circle for this card, but this stamp set has lots of options for card fronts or for stamping inside of a card.

Nice projects showing some color and layer ideas. Nice for envelope coordination.
These colors are so fun and go so well with these awesome flowers and your card designs.
