Today let's look at a few more SEW sweet card making ideas that feature faux stitching and an adorable sewing theme. Today is a February release BLOG HOP DAY with Impression Obsession, so be sure to check the end of this post for details about participants and PRIZES!
This blog post contains affiliate links. When you shop through my links I receive compensation at no cost to you. Thank you from the bottom of my crafty heart!
To create this background:
- Assemble and adhere 4 rectangles of cardstock, in colors that complement each other.
- Stamp the background on top using white pigment ink. (I suggest using a MISTI or stamping platform for this since you're stamping on layers of cardstock with edges that aren't all even. You can thank me later...)
- Once the panel has dried (remember, pigment ink takes a bit longer to dry) add the die-cut stitching at the bottom of the panel.
I hope you liked today's sewing themed card ideas! This release has such darling products with quilting and stitching. Today the designers at Impression Obsession are taking one more day to celebrate the new stamps and dies released this month and we don't want you to miss a thing!
Here are the important details on this week's blog hop:
- We're giving away THREE Impression Obsession Grab Bags - the more you comment, the more chances to win!

Oh sew sweet cards! Thanks for the great ideas!
Both cards are fabulous! I'm loving the vintage feel to both. TFS
I LOVE THE SEWING THEMED ELEMENTS!!!!! I love it so much. The strawberry, the tomato pin cushion, everything is adorable.
Cute, Cute cards!
What fun sewing themed cards! My mom had one of those tomato pin cushions when I was growing up, and then I got one too. Mine is worn and squashy, but still in my sewing box. These are such sweet designs.
The sewing themed cards are wonderful and immediately brought in great memories of my sewing days. I use to make all my clothes with pride (for about dollar-fifty, ha)... or when someone would want me to make something for them , wow. I love how cards bring back thoughts. These cards are darling. I'll bet you were a sewer too and why these are your favorite! Thanks for the smiles!
WOW! These are all adorable !I LOVE the sew puns!
Very cute stitchery cards!
Great set shares. I like the stitching.
