Winter Watercolor Greetings {Limited Edition Stamps from Impression Obsession}

Hello December! (How can it be already!?) A new month means it's time for a new limited edition stamp set from Impression ObsessionThis month's set is just in time to create beautiful winter cards well into the new year. Today, we'll look at two simple watercolored card ideas featuring the stamps from this lovely new stamp set.

These beautiful birds were begging for an extra clean and simple card. The puddle of blue watercolor was the perfect landing spot for this simple scene. After watercoloring the birds and branch, I brushed on a puddle of water, and adding lots of rich blue color. This card is finished off with a simple sentiment (I'm loving those fonts!) plus a few white iridescent sequins.

Next up, a cozy winter scene. . .I started by painting the houses - don't want to spend much time? Just add some yellow to the windows for a warm glow! Next, I layered some shades of blue to create the sky and snow. (Don't forget the snowy rooftops!) A little glitter would be another fabulous way to finish off this scene. I couldn't resist the same sentiment and sequins for this card. . .it just felt so perfect.

Hello.. :) Both of your cards are so sweet. The window glow is a great idea. I like cas and Christmas is perfect for a lot of white in the background making the card so very nostalgic. Merry Christmas Ms. Laura
