Two Sweet and Simple Coffee Card Ideas {See What's New at Impression Obsession!}

Coffee and tea themed cards are always so much fun to make! Whether stamped or die-cut, mugs or to-go cups . . .I'm always here for a cute sentiment and a cup of coffee. Today's cards feature a fantastic clear stamp set from Impression Obsession, called Bean Thinking. (Haha, get it? BEAN Thinking?) It's packed with adorable cups, coffee and treats, and of course coffee BEANS.

To create today's cards I stamped, colored and fussy cut a bunch of images on white cardstock. (Although there's also coordinating dies to make that part much easier!) I planned to mass produce cards for a coffee-loving friend so I created lots of little images to mix and match on multiple cards. Both card ideas are super simple, perfect for duplicating.
I hope you'll stop by the Impression Obsession website to see all the products in this month's release. Then, hop around to the designers' blogs. We're having a THREE DAY blog hop (this is day THREE!) and we've all got some fabulous new inspiration to share with you!

Don't Miss These Tic-Tac-Toe Card Ideas for Valentines and Coffee Lovers! {New from Impression Obsession}

YOU can make the cutest handmade cards in any theme, with one adorable die set plus whatever stamps, dies or embellishments you want. I'll show you two adorable ways to use the Scalloped Nine-Patch dies plus some SUPER cute new stamps and dies from Impression Obsession to make a Valentine and a coffee-themed card!

This blog post contains affiliate links. When you shop through my links I receive compensation at no cost to you. Thank you from the bottom of my crafty heart!
The Scalloped Nine-Patch die set creates the scalloped border, plus the tic-tac-toe shaped outline, and don't forget the space inside each square. To create the Valentine card, cut the die from light pink, dark pink, and black cardstock and then add in some fun Valentine elements. The sweet images from IO's new A Heart For You clear stamp set are perfect for this idea, because there's lots of small-ish Valentine images to choose from.
Next up, a coffee version of the same card. See? You can TOTALLY do this, using whatever images or even just cute embellishments that you want to use. The stamps on this card are from the new Bean Thinking clear stamp set. It's another fun set with cute little coffee images and sentiments. (I'll have some more coffee cards to share with you this week!)

I mixed and matched with die cut X's and O's on both of these cards, from the new Capital Alphabet die set. It's a fantastic new alpha die set that's the perfect size for card sentiments. (The whole alphabet can be cut from a 4.25x5.5-inch piece of cardstock.)

Speaking of NEW products, I hope you'll stop by the Impression Obsession website to see all the products in this month's release. Then, hop around to the designers' blogs. We're having a THREE DAY blog hop (this is day one!) and we've all got some fabulous new inspiration to share with you!

Happiness is Hot Chocolate and Handmade Cards {With Sweet New Goodies from Impression Obsession!}

Cozy warm drinks are on the menu for today's new release at Impression Obsession. This die cut cocoa mug includes sweet stitched details and the perfect dollop of whipped cream for handmade cards and crafts this winter. And better yet, you'll use this mug die all year long because it's always time for a friendly cup of cocoa, coffee, or tea!

This new die has the cutest set of coordinating sentiments, called Hot Chocolate Sayings. The stamp set also includes the adorable solid mug stamps, which I used to create the background on my first card.
For today's second card, I had fun with patterned papers. The papers make this card subtly holiday-themed, but it's mostly just a cool winter card, and paired again with the cute Hot Chocolate Sayings

We're celebrating the November release at Impression Obsession this week, and I'll be back tomorrow with some more winter inspiration! Stop by all the designers today and see what they've been busy creating!

Today is Day 2 of Impression Obsession's October release blog hop, and there are so many fun products to share with you! Here on my blog, we're all about the COFFEE today! Both of the coffee cup dies (Coffee & Cocoa as well as Coffee To Go) have been dies I've turned to again and again, and I am excited about the brand new Christmas Coffee Sayings stamp set to bring some fresh inspiration to these dies!

My first card today is kind of collage-y and fun, using the oh-so-cute Coffee To Go die set. (I stamped the background using the new Make a Wish stamp set - soooo fun!) The cute little sentiment is embossed to finish off this card.
My second card is SUPER clean and simple, featuring simple coffee mugs. It's sort of a play on Christmas colors, because sometimes. . .subtle or unexpected is just right. This would be a fun card to send to a friend in December, but not necessarily as "An Official Christmas Card" - know what I mean? And since I had an extra mug cut out, I popped it onto a die-cut tag just for an extra little something!

The brand new Christmas Coffee Sayings sentiment stamps are sized just right for cards and tags, and I love the cute font!

Here are the important details on the new release blog hop:

(I use the tiny hearts from this set ALL.THE.TIME. They're so perfect!)
love using the Magic Mat with my die cutting machine, because it alleviates those pesky cutting lines on the underneath side of die cut shapes. You know, the ones from your best used cutting plates?

Is it a Pumpkin Spicy Kinda Morning?

Pumpkins and coffee and cozy handmade cards . . .three of my favorite things about fall! Today's cards combine my favorite things, and feature the Pumpkin Spice stamp set from Impression Obsession. The design team is celebrating some of our favorites from this month's new release . . .so let's cozy up and take a look!

First up, a little bit of simple paper-piecing to assemble this coffee and pumpkin duo. I added texture to this simple card with a strip of torn corrugated stock, plus some subtle embossing on the background. And my favorite trick . . .a little white gel pen highlighting around the details and letters.

I masked the cup image to create this row of coffee cups, and colored them with markers in cozy  colors. The background is stamped for some extra fall flair!

Be sure to stop by the Impression Obsession blog for a list of designers participating in today's blog hop. And then, don't forget to check out the entire new release on the Impression Obsession website!

Look! These Christmas Card Ideas Are Extra Sweet With Die Cut Treats!

Hey crafty peeps! Check out these Christmas and winter card ideas with the sweetest die cut treats. These candy canes and coffee drinks are calorie free and perfect for your card making and craft projects this holiday season.

This blog post contains affiliate links. When you shop through my links I receive compensation at no cost to you. Thank you from the bottom of my crafty heart!
Today's card layouts are both similar, starting with the Cute Scalloped Rectangles die. This cute rectangle makes the perfect resting place for today's sweet treats.
Today's first card features the Coffee To Go dies. This set makes the cutest take out coffee cup, and it's fun to cut from a variety of colors and prints. I started out with a patterned paper cup, and then I added the sleeve cut from corrugated stock. (It reminds me of a Starbucks cup sleeve! You could even keep one the next time you get coffee, and die cut it for your cards!)
To make this card a little more festive for winter, I added sprigs and leaves from the Winter Foliage die set. This is a set that I grab almost every single time I create holiday cards. It's definitely a powerhouse for winter and Christmas card making! I love the pop of color the different shades of green cardstock add to this card.
The next card features the Primitive Candy & Holly dies. I layered some patterned papers together for the base of this card, and then added some more of the Winter Foliage to my candy cane. Both of today's cards feature sentiments from the Cool Yule stamp set.
Alright, sweet peeps! Today begins a two-day blog hop celebrating all things HOLIDAY at Impression Obsession. ('Tis the season, right!?) There's more crafty holiday goodness to share tomorrow, so don't be a stranger! In fact, subscribe here so you never miss a blog post!
