Anyone else spend the whole summer waiting for Shark Week on Discovery Channel? My kids have been watching previous year's Shark Week shows online because they just can't wait. We all get into it and I'm sure we'll be watching (and rewatching) every show this year!

In celebration of our favorite week of summer, I made a few shark-inspired cards that are perfect for Shark Week.
Product note: the stamp set I used is no longer available, but there are some of THE cutest shark stamps and dies at Simon Says Stamp. Find them all HERE!
The first card is a fun shaker card with three cut-outs.
Want to try this?
Die-cut three circles from patterned paper and layer it over a Clearview Sheet or acetate panel. To make it easier, enclose the whole panel with foam tape, rather than making three separate shaker elements. (The sequins will move freely between the circles by doing it this way.)
The next card wasn't really planned - but I had those three fun circle cut outs from my first card so I thought - maybe I can do the reverse for another card. This card is sweet and simple. I adhered the three circles onto a white card base, and then added some more die-cut sharks. I trimmed the one shark to look like he's swimming across. Then, after I trimmed off the backside of that shark, I decided that little tail was just the perfect finishing touch on my shaker card, so I added it to the top circle! It was fun to go back and forth working on these cards together.
These shark stamps are so much fun for masculine birthday cards, but I love how the purple and pink colors could make this a perfect card for a girly-girl shark fan too! It's a great stamp set for summer crafting for all occasions.

Really enjoyed your shark cards- especially when you used the circle cutouts and shark tail on additional cards.
