Today is Old is New Day on the Impression Obsession blog. It's the day we celebrate the oldies-but-goodies in our stamp and diecutting stash. Today's cards feature some springtime blooms and a beautiful hope-filled sentiment that's perfect for the season.

The next time you have some stamped images and a sentiment but you're not sure how to tie it all together, try some die cut circles. The circles on this card added the perfect pops of color, plus some extra interest without being distracting. The circles give a resting place and ground the images without looking like TOO MUCH. Give it a try!
I had fun with my colored pencils on these stamped images. I really like the shades of yellow and orange mixed with the aqua. It feels fresh and fun for springtime.I know the IO team has lots of inspiration to share with you today so be sure to visit the Impression Obsession blog to see a list of all the designers participating in Old is New Day.
And HEY. . .don't be a stranger because beginning next week we'll be celebrating the new April release at Impression Obsession with a two-day blog hop - there's chances to gift certificates to the IO shop, plus so much sweet springtime inspiration. I hope you'll hop along with us! (Subscribe up there in the sidebar or right here, so you don't miss a post!)
Before you go - want to see another card with the same sentiment, but a totally different look? How about this bold floral card with the Poppy Flower stamp? There are so many possibilities with this sentiment!
