I'm sharing my favorite card FIRST today. This Happy Home Sweet Home card is packed with things I love - clean and simple layout, pops of bright colors, and of course. . . polka dots! Just two stamps make a big impression on this clean and simple handmade card. This card would be perfect for a variety of occasions: Welcome a loved one home from a deployment or home from college. Celebrate the purchase of a new home. Send well wishes to someone moving. Celebrate a homecoming after an extended stay in a hospital or rehab facility.

I created the first card, above, by paper-piecing. I stamped the image onto a few different colors of cardstock, and then cut and layered it together. (I colored the polka-dots with markers though.)

For the next card, I did a little fancy (not-really) stamping. This stamp is three houses. First, I stamped it twice on a white cardstock panel. Then I stamped it one more time on a scrap of cardstock, fussy cut it and adhered it in between the two images. I colored all of the houses with alcohol markers. (Not an affiliate link, but I am really loving these Caliart markers I got on Amazon. They are a great price too!)

Today's third card features the Cottage stamp. I did some masking for this card so I could ink the sky and grass around it. Then I colored the image with markers.

Bright fun cards.... geez, where was this card when my next door neighbor moved in last Spring, she had a bird sitting on her chimney for months. It left mid summer and we kinda miss her perched friend.
