How do you feel about pie? Pumpkin pie is an obvious favorite, but there are pies filled with fruit, nuts, chocolate, or cream. . .there's a pie flavor for just about everyone, isn't there? And when it comes to die-cut pies made from paper, the crafty possibilities are endless! Today we'll take a look at some handmade card ideas featuring the new pie dies (and coordinating stamps) from Impression Obsession. . .because they really take the cake. (Or something punny like that!)

We're starting off this paper-crafted pie party with a traditional pumpkin pie, topped with whipped cream of course! The two piece pie dies (plus whipped cream!) are simple to assemble and this first card is easy-peasy die-cut and glued pieces to make a sweet and simple fall card. Next up, I got a little fancy on this mini slimline card. I die-cut the pie from watercolor paper and played with inks and splatters to create some brightly colored lemon and berry fillings. So fun, right?!
Pie feels like a fall tradition, but don't forget about the zingy and fresh springtime pies like strawberry and lemon! This card has a completely different feel and is a good reminder that you can serve up some sweet pie themed cards ALL YEAR LONG.
And for today's last dish of pie, I created a background panel using the coordinating stamps for this bright fall card. No matter how you slice it, these new stamps and dies are lots of fun . . .and only the start of this great September release at Impression Obsession. Here are the important details on the new release blog hop:
