Do you enjoy making sets of handmade cards for friends, coworkers or neighbors? I give them as gifts throughout the year, and this set of Easter cards is simple and fun to create, plus it's easy to mass produce to use as a gift set this springtime!

A sweet friend of mine usually asks me to make her a set of 10 Easter cards each year. This is this year's card. I used FSJ's Easter Blessings and Hope Anchors Stamp Sets, from Spellbinders. I purposely kept this card flat, which was a huge struggle for me! I don't realize how compulsively I use foam squares until I force myself NOT to! I wanted these to be easy and flat for mailing though, so I used craft glue to adhere my layers.
If you'd like to whip up these simple Easter cards for yourself or as a gift, here are the quick instructions in ten easy steps:
1. Trim card bases to 5.5x4.25"
2. Trim white cardstock layer to 5.25x4"
3. Stamp crosses and flowers and then fussy cut or die cut.
4. Lay cross onto white cardstock to get an idea of the spacing, and then stamp greenery onto cardstock.
5. Sponge light blue ink onto cardstock over general area of greenery and around where cross will be adhered.
6. Adhere cross and flower with craft glue.
7. Stamp sentiment.
8. Splatter panel lightly with Silk.
9. Adhere panel to card base.
10. Adhere sequins.
I recently got a package of Window Boxes from Spellbinders. These are food-safe boxes that are adorable for cookies, and handmade treats - but they also fit 10 handmade cards + envelopes. Check the treat box section at Michael's or JoAnn for more box ideas that might be the perfect gift box for card sets!
I added a little bit of shredded paper so the cards wouldn't slide around, but they really fit pretty well. I added a simple bow and called it DONE.
I think my friend will LOVE finding this set of cards on her desk tomorrow morning!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I've been doing a flurry of crafting lately, so I'm excited to pop in to my blog more often. I hope you'll stick around and join me! xoxo

Laura, this is a perfect gift when you don't have to mail a card! I love the lavender you used. Maybe your friend will gently open the box, and re-gift it to you with a card she's made; kind of like a Round Robin Card Exchange.
