BOO! It's a Spooky and Sweet Ghost for Halloween

Hello friends! It's almost October which means it's time to start thinking about fun Halloween crafts. I've crafted up a spooky and sweet handmade Halloween card for you today using an adorable die cut ghost.

Make a DIY handmade card for Halloween using stamps and dies from Impression Obsession. This spooky and sweet homemade card was created with a die cut ghost and BOO sentiment which are so easy to use. The striped patterned paper is a fun accent, along with teal sequins and mini staples. #cardmaking #halloweencraft #diecutting
This card begins with simple die-cutting and assembling. The stitched ghost and die cut BOO sentiment (which comes with that adorable spider) are quick and easy to use for Halloween cards, crafts, tags, and treat bags. (I'll show you some more ideas at the end of this post!)

The base for these die cut elements is the Cute Scalloped Rectangles die set. I just love this die set because it's so simple but it can be used so many ways:

  • Stack and layer them like matting.
  • Die cut and punch a hole to use them as gift tags.
  • Use one at a time for a focal point on a card.
  • Make labels for ALL the things.
  • Use the negative cut-out for a shaker card or tunnel card.
  • Use the smallest one as a faux postage stamp.
  • Overlap them for a collage-type background like I did on today's card.

I've used this die set in a similar way before, and I just love it - it gives a little landing space for each element on the card. For this card, I cut the large and medium rectangle from orange cardstock, and the smallest one from white to balance out the overall design.
